WHAT TO DO HERE Mālpils Manor offers a great variety of recreation options that will suit all our guests’ fancy – from couples seeking romance, to families with children, to active leisure fans. ELECTRA BICYCLES Take a ride on an Electra bicycle, and enjoy the beautiful views of Mālpils district. Ask our staff for a map that will guide you to the objects of interest located nearby. If you decide to go on a longer bicycle ride and have a picnic, our staff will prepare all the necessary things for you to bring along: refreshments, drinks and soft blankets. You can find out more about our extensive range of massages in the pictures added here. SEE THE OFFER NATURE TRAIL A new nature trail was recently opened in Mālpils. The 6.5 km long nature trail takes you from a medieval castle mound, along the left bank of the river Mergupīte, to Oto Skulme’s oak tree, located across country house Skulmes. Wooden bridges are set up at some locations, and places for picnic are available. EXCURSIONS Take a guided tour around Mālpils Manor, or purchase our Manor’s guidebook that will provide you with information about the Manor’s history, renovation process, as well as historical and art values located in it. Our Large Stall Hall takes pride in its great acoustic properties that enable one to enjoy music with great ambient sound. TEA HOUSE Our cosy Tea Hut is located in the Manor’s park, right by the pond; it is available for rent for hosting small picnics or enjoying tea during rainy weather. Price: EUR 15,00 / an hour (form 15th may to 30th september) We also offer picnic grills for rent. BOAT RENT The manor complex of Malpils is featuring an extensive Baroque style park and a pond with a bubbly fountain and water lilies.
