In order for each attic room to have its own aura, they were designed in different colours.
You will find a completely different ambience in the Mālpils Manor’s attic: exposed ancient wooden beams, oak and ash tree flooring planks that were made out of trees that once used to grow in the Manor’s park, wooden doors renovated by Latvian craftsmen, and framing that has travelled from various regions of Latvia.
Smoky-blue wall finishing and carefully selected interior design objects are the key to ensuring harmony in this room. The interior’s charm is a collage of antiques: a closet from an antiques shop, a table and renovated chairs, antique chandeliers, and art objects.
