In order for each attic room to have its own aura, they were designed in different colours.
You will find a completely different ambience in the Mālpils Manor’s attic: exposed ancient wooden beams, oak and ash tree flooring planks that were made out of trees that once used to grow in the Manor’s park, wooden doors renovated by Latvian craftsmen, and framing that has travelled from various regions of Latvia.
The sand-colour tone was deliberately selected as a background for the antique furniture, carefully selected interior design objects and accentuated massive beams. The antiqueness of each interior detail contributes to creating a warm atmosphere in the room. The expressive central lighting piece positively contrasts with the laconic space.
