In order for each attic room to have its own aura, they were designed in different colours.
You will find a completely different ambience in the Mālpils Manor’s attic: exposed ancient wooden beams, oak and ash tree flooring planks that were made out of trees that once used to grow in the Manor’s park, wooden doors renovated by Latvian craftsmen, and framing that has travelled from various regions of Latvia.
In combination with the ancient wooden beams and balks, the mild moss-green walls create a slightly dreamy atmosphere to ensure peaceful relaxation. Things bearing a whiff of the past, paintings on the walls, furniture from antique shops, and ancient chandeliers melt together with the room to create an airy and unobtrusive general image.
